Memon Federation organizes “Memon Unity Walk” on Sir Adamji Day.

The main purpose of this walk is to highlight the services rendered by memon community for Pakistan says Hanif Motlani, President APMF

Karachi (28 January 2019): Memon federation organizes “Memon Unity Walk” on Sir Adamji Day to commemorate the services rendered by Sir Adamji and other people belonging to memon community.

Mr. Hanif Motlani, president APMF, was leading the walk while Muhammad Afzal Bhujwala was incharge of the walk. Governor Sindh Mr. Imran Ismail was the chief guest of the walk. Mr. Siraj Qasim Teli, Chairman BMG, Farooq Sattar, Khawaja Izhar, Aqeel Karim Dhedhi, Ahmed Chinoy, Rasheed Godil and many other prominent politicians, social worker and businessmen took part in the walk.

Talking to the participants of the walk, Mr. Hanif Motlani said that memons are running 156 social work institutions but unfortunately government is not recognizing their services in becoming manner. Memon are back bone of Pakistan’s economy and play a big role in the GDP of Pakistan’s economy.

Mr. Imran Ismail, Governor Sindh, Acknowledge the services by Memon Community and memon federation. He lauded the organizers of the walk. Speaking to the media he said that memon are peaceful community. He said that memon are born entrepreneurs and that Pakistani nation should learn from memon community about business skills.

The walk was attended by large number of people from memon community. The walk ended at Memon federation house where memon cultural celebrations were organized. Food stalls also served delicious food. While memon classic drama was also performed.

The walk ended at APMF A. Razzak Tabba sports complex opposite Memon Federation house. Many cultural activities were set up at Tabba sports complex.

Cultural Show “Panjho khoro theeno”

The cultural Show “Panjho Khoro Theeno” meaning “What will become of us? ” is a classic Memoni Comedy and Islahi Comedy play directed by renowned PTV actor Aftab Alam (Janu German). This play was written by Aftab Kamdar and story by Amir Hokla.

The play was attended by large number of audience. Who enjoyed the show thoroughly.

Memon Federation is the Umbrella organization of Memon Community. All other 56 memon communities from Pakistan come under this.
